Located six kilometers north of Patong Beach this two-kilometre beach is one of the quietest on the island. Nearby beaches include Laem Sing and Surin, as well as several small sandy coves. The name is derived from a nearby Muslim fishing village. In the afternoons on this peaceful and picturesque beach, water buffalo can often be seen cooling off in the water. Beautiful hotel. Great service. Swim up bar!! Its remote location can be viewed as a con but it is perfect if you are looking to get away from it all. You will not be disappointed in this hotel. I almost don't want to sing its praises too much because I don't want it to get spoiled. The decor is gorgeous, the rooms are beautiful and immaculate, the views are incredible and the staff is very attentive. I cannot say enough good things about the hotel. I was very sad to leave. Restaurant Tip : Steamed fish of the day is excellent. Happy hour is a must!
