Overview

Coral Island is outstanding, and comes closer than most to fulfilling that seductive mental image, we all seen to have of discovering a remote, perfect, untouched island escape, where the sand is pure and white, the water translucent, the sunsets religiously inspiring and the crowds for away. Only 15 mins. by speedboat or 30 mins. by ferry from Phuket, there\'s total seclusion in this lovely resort. A short trek over the small hill and rocks will lead you to a small, quiet cove with a beautiful beach. An excellent hideaway during the day. Fishing and a sunset sailing cruise can also be arranged. Watersports are available on the beach. Diving and instruction is available in English, Japanese, Chinese and Thai.

The journey there from the pick up at the airport (spot on time) to the speedboat to the island (a very exhilarating 15 mins) was first class. The speedboat trip, help with luggage off the speedboat and welcome to the resort was a wonderful start to our time on Coral Island. Although it was only about 10 am we were shown to our accommodation straight after our welcome drink. This was just as advertised and a mere 10 seconds from the beach.... literally within a stone's throw. The rooms are basic but are comfortable and clean. The room was cleaned, fresh bedding laid, fresh clean towels, new toiletries, toilet rolls etc supplied every morning. Meal times were quite an intimate affair!! A shame for the owners but great for us! I would go back to Coral Island in and instant! Very friendly staff, always helpful and polite.
