The Phi Phi Islands are located between Phukt and the western Strait of Malacca coast of the main land. There are six islands in the group known as Phi Phi. The islands came to worldwide prominence when Ko Phi Phi Leh was used as a location for the film "The Beach". Phi Phi Leh also houses the 'Viking Cave', from which there is a thriving bird's nest soup industry.

offer to snorkeling fans. There are also nearby islands to
visit, such as Yoong, Mai Pai, Bida Nok, and Bida Nai islands.
This island has two bays that are world-renowned for their
beauty, Ton Sai and Lo Dalum bays. There are many shops
here, as well as accommodation. It is also possible to climb up to the viewpoint from Ton Sai bay to see both bays. The entire island is also scattered with other beautiful beaches and bays.

This island is mainly limestone mountains with steep cliffs. Its more beautiful bays are Pi Leh, Maya, and Lo Sama bays. There is also a Viking Cave, towards the northeastern part of the island, where there aredrawings on the walls of the cave believed to date from historical times.
